This is my version of the Grimms fairy tale, the frog prince. Here is the scene when the princess is about to lose her favorite posession, the golden ball. The princess is definately not finished, I will probably redraw her but keeping the same basic design. Below her golden ball is the handsome frog prince himself and below that is his weapon (unfinished). I saw him as a warrior prince, who went to kill the evil witch, but ended up being enchanted instead and twisted into a half human half frog creature. I should have some more viz dev on this soon.

These are small thumbnail sketches I took to color to try to visualize a story I am developing. It is about a malaysian tapir, and his journey to find an impossible love. I know these are rough and have some compositional flaws, but they are mostly me
thinking on paper. More to come. (also, they are out of sequence, the plane should be the first)

This is my version of Jack and the Beanstalk. Jack lives on another planet in the future. Humans have began colonizing and stripping other plantes of their resources. This particular planet was mined for a bright yellow gem. Jack and his mother live in one of these massive abandoned mining pits, where a whole shanty city has built up of "unwanted" people. All of the homeless people find their way into this civilization because they are persecuted on the surface.

The first piece is the scene when the "magic" beans grow out of the mildly radiated soil.
The next piece is one idea for the giant. He is a mercenary alien creature that travels from city to city, planet to planet, taking over the richest families house and using all thier money and resources. when those run out he finds a new house to take over.
The last piece is the giants weapon.

These still need a little work, but they are almost there I think.

This is the Good Witch, sister of the Wicked Witch. She tries to form a resistance against the tyrrany of the Evil Witch.

This is the Wicked Witch and one of her Flying Monkeys. The Witch is the ruler of Oz, keeping her many subjects in line with fear and terror dealt out by her army of viscous Flying Monkeys.

The Scarecrow. A twisted old creature that hobbles around searching for wisdom.

This is the Tin Man. He was a captain of the Witch's soldiers, but when she creates the Flying Monkeys, they become obsolete. As the Monkeys first order, they destroy the old soldiers and rip out our Tin Mans heart. Now he wanders as an undead searching for his heart.

This is the Cowardly Lion. I saw him as a little tribal kid who is terribly afraid of everyone so he uses masks to make himself look big and scary, but he is still a kid, so it comes off a little wierd. His whole family was wiped out by by the old soldiers of the wicked witch.

This is Dorothy from my version of the Wizard of Oz, the final piece and some development ideas.
She is a futuristic pig farmer, and that is a feed bag on her leg (just fill it up and walk along the pig pen).
